Great video! I like how the video concluded with the five assumptions in case someone forgot along the way. The only thing I suggest is having a more upbeat voice/narrator to keep the audience engaged. Overall, great video!

I really enjoyed the linear framework of the video. It kept all the different requirements for hardy-weinberg equilibrium from overlapping too much and becoming confusing

I would also suggest moving at a slightly faster pace in order to keep things entertaining.

The video was super organized and helpful!! I like how you listed the assumption in order and gave one specific example for each, making it easy to follow and understand. One thing I would say is that you should probably expand more on what Hardy Weinberg is. A clear cut definition would be helpful because although you talked about the assumptions you didn’t really discuss the importance of what the concept does.

The concept was explained well in an easy to understand manor and the accompanying graphics supplemented the information in a helpful and creative way. The example with the scientists studying lizards in China at the beginning of the video should either be left out or better explained.

Good visuals and clear narration. The information was accurate and clear, and the analogies were very helpful in understanding the material. However you could improve your video by explaining in simpler terms by using less specific vocabulary.

    Hey guys,
I think you had a great video. I really liked the fact that you guys had nice (and relevant animations) and that there was a nice summary at the end. I must say Assumption#4 wasn’t visual brought across as clearly as the other assumptions but still, I feel like my knowledge of this topic was enhanced! 🙂

This video was very clear and well organized. I also really liked the visuals, they kept me interested in the video. However, I would suggest using less specific terms/vocabulary so that individuals who don’t have previous knowledge on the subject would be able to understand.

I really enjoy the pacing of the video and how it was set up. It really flowed well so that all the information was understandable. However, I think the voiceover is a bit monotonous which made it less engaging than it could have been.

Your video was effective about conveying concisely and effectively the 5 assumptions needed for Hardy Weinberg equilibrium.

I might have added an example that goes through using Hardy Weinberg equations

The examples used in the video were really useful in understanding some of the concepts (for example, the coin toss example). However, some concepts were still left a little unclear. Overall, the visuals were great and very helpful in explaining the elements of the Hardy Weinberg equilibrium.

This was a great video! It was clear and communicated the subject clearly so that I easily understood it. I would suggest explaining the example at the beginning better and making it a bit more engaging.

The visuals were extremely helpful and informative. The comparisons also made the topic very clear. A possible improvement would be increasing the volume. The sound was fairly difficult to hear and there was a lot of static

I enjoyed the animations in this video. I thought they were clear and creatively explained each point. I like how the narrator spoke and a pace that was easy to follow, but it became monotonous and boring sometimes. Maybe background music would make it more entertaining? The animations were very festive, but the narrator didn’t seem so enthusiastic.

  15. dlee712 says:

The visuals were very helpful in displaying what the terms meant. The sound was great and the voice was very helpful in that it was stated in a steady pace. I thought there could’ve been a bit more enthusiastic animations to lighten up the video.

the visuals are great, the the format is engaging. however, my recommendation.. try to simplified your vocabulary. there were some topics “straight out of the book”. I would like a more simplified of the topic, if possible. beyond that, everything is great, great editing software, great voice over good job
