  1. Bernal Nicolas says:

Although the video was well narrated and accompanied by creative visuals, the sloppy audio distracted from the main point.

  2. Barone Cassandra says:

I really like the Khan Academy styled visuals/animations since they are a great simple way to learn. The flashing images however were kind of random sometimes.

  3. Kumar Gayathri says:

This is actually a really fascinating topic, and I think you did a great job in communicating background information and the results of the study. The sound could have been improved, though.

  4. Ghalayini Sarah says:

This video did a good job overall! I thought they were effective in conveying the background for and results of the study. The sound quality could have been better, though.

  5. Koo Jun says:

Great video! While the audio was poor in quality, syncing your words with the pictures made it easier to follow what you guys were saying and the information presented stuck.

  6. Anum Ul-Haque says:

The video was great! Although the audio was a little poor in quality and the flashing images sometimes distracted from the audio, the video was good overall

  7. Milburn Emily says:

I really liked how you used a combination of writing on slides and presented pictures to go along with the narration. It kept me engaged for the entire video. The only negative I have is that the audio quality is very poor and was hard to understand at times. But overall, your group did a great job!

  8. Whitt Sabrina says:

I liked how you displayed the information through some pictures that were relevant to the narration. However, the audio quality was poor and it was hard to understand because the volume was so low. Also, sometimes the writing was sloppy and hard to read. But good job on making this video informative and enlightening.

  9. Loftin Sidney says:

This is very informative but a tiny bit boring and I had a hard time paying attention

  10. Carkuff Rachel says:

The information was communicated well, but the audio was not great. The flashing and quick-changing visuals were a bit distracting, and the writing on the visuals could have been better. Overall, the study and the relation to the class and big picture were interesting.

  11. Madeline Lazar says:

The sound quality detracted from the video. I liked the style, it reminds me of lots of other informational videos online. The information was easy to understand, and I liked how you explained the graphs in more detail. I think the final part of the video should have had a different format-If you are saying the words there is no need to write all of them on the screen.

  12. Li Danny says:

The video was very informative and interesting to watch. It was great how different visual methods were used throughout the video to help share the information. The information was easy to understand and follow, but the sound quality can be improved.

  13. Kim Samuel says:

This video reminds me of many late-night Khan Academy videos I’ve watched desperately studying for a test. The information was there and well paired with visuals, but the audio quality (specifically the frequent volume changes) detracted from the overall quality of the video.

  14. Glover Blake says:

Despite the audio being hard to hear at times I thought this was a very informative and interesting video. I really enjoyed the ‘khan academy’ styled graphics but found some of the graphics in the middle with the flashing pictures a little much and some seemed to be irrelevant or off topic. Overall I think it was a great video.

  15. Smith Jaeiza says:

I think that your visuals were interesting, but I wish your audio was higher.

  16. Taylor Sydney says:

The narration was difficult to hear at times, but you presented the information very well. The figures were very helpful in understanding the information.

  17. Reynolds Kirsten says:

The presentation of the video reminded me of a Khan Academy video! I liked how at the beginning, you not only gave credit to the original researchers, but also defined the terms that were going to be used to describe the information presented. The variation of the audio sometimes made the information hard to understand, but the pictures as well as the background music held my attention and furthered my understanding of the information. Well done!

  18. Washburn Benjamin says:

Very informative video, and different visuals although I think they worked well. Audio quality was not very good, but still the video made it easy to understand the study.

  19. Hoey Maeve says:

Presented a really interesting topic well. Also I enjoyed the writing on the black background style, the same as Khan Academy, which I know I always find helpful. The incorporation of graphs as you drew on them was also a nice aspect of the video. Great work

  20. Arpinar Omer says:

I really liked how the visuals were done, they were easy to understand and pertinent to the topics being discussed. The audio was a bit quiet/hard to hear at times.

  21. Oliver Greta says:

This video presents the information well and I liked the use of typing rather than a still slide. The audio was low and hard to understand at times.

  22. smortley3 says:

This video explains this topic very well and the visuals/graphs were really well done and easy to understand, although the sound was very quiet which made some points a little confusing.

  23. Umair Alvi says:

The video was made with great intentions but unfortunately it was not very interesting. The slideshow of images left me feeling very bored. However, I did enjoy the topic of the research and the results were very interesting.

  24. Lin Min says:

The speakers are difficult to hear, but overall the video was very informative. Overall, good job and nice visuals.

  25. Beruk Samson says:

Good job on explaining the content of the paper. I thought the Khan academy styled explanation in the beginning was strong, however the visuals used in the rest of the video and the constantly changing quality of the sounds made it somewhat hard to follow at times. It was a good idea to use music to continually keep listeners engaged however it didn’t blend very well with the speech files in my opinion

  26. Goggans Griffin says:

I thought this video could be much more effective if your video audio was louder. The narration was boring which made it hard to pay attention throughout the video. You had good graphs to represent the data.

  27. Sommer Elias says:

This was a good presentation of a fascinating topic. It’s really interesting to see this application of the concepts we covered in class.

  28. Warner Chase says:

I feel like I am watching a Khan academy video. The initial explanation of the use of phylogenetic trees makes the information applicable to the class, however, the variation in sound quality of narrators is distracting. Overall, the video does a good job connecting the concepts of the study to the content of the class, and does so in an interesting way.

  29. Jones Dillon says:

Nice video. I like the Khan Academy feel. Sound quality could use a little bit of improvement, but generally understandable. Some explanations such as defining “lethal violence” seems a bit unnecessary.

  30. Bullock Kate says:

Your graphs were simple and easy to follow. Although, the audio was sometimes hard to hear at times. Overall I thought your video was very informative and I liked the cute pictures of monkeys.

  31. Kumar Nishant says:

The video was very good. Information was presented in an engaging manner, and the audio wasn’t too bad for me.

  32. Mary Carolyn Hulgan says:

The audio quality was inconsistent and made it hard to focus, and the rapidly changing visuals were distracting. However, the material was covered clearly and informatively.

  33. Ali Shan says:

The presentation of the video was quite unique and creative. The audio quality wasn’t the greatest, but the visuals were great, making the video very effective! Great work!

  34. Reymond Brian says:

Overall very great video. The constant images/drawings were interesting and helped me engage with the information provided. The only negative about the video is the difference in sound quality between speakers. The constantly changing volume is distracting and makes the video harder to understand.

  35. Sills Ann-Marie says:

Cool style, but the audio kind of lagged. However, the overall information was well presented! Plus, I really liked the Khan Academy stylistic approach. Well done!

  36. Swope Jason says:

Great video, the black background was a good choice for presenting the info along with the informative commentary. Some more animations with the graphs could have been good but overall very nice job.

  37. Swope Jason says:

Great video, the black background was a good choice for presenting the info along with the informative commentary. Some more animations with the graphs could have been good but overall very nice job.

  38. Jackson Kierston says:

Your video was very informative! I would just make sure to pay attention to the audio levels a bit more as sometimes there was variation in the volume. Also the use of some images were pixelated so it may have been a better idea to try and draw them out to make the video a bit more personalized.

  39. Ferguson David says:

The video background was okay, however there were times where it was somewhat distracting . Although the video clips at the end were okay they were distracting form the main text of the video.

  40. Crane-Moscowitz Kenneth says:

I think you do a really good job presenting this information, as someone who also had this topic. The editing and use of images are also really top shelf. Excellent work on this project.

  41. Mendoza Franco says:

This video was well done. It provides an introduction that helps set up the content of the “experiment”. This, being a very complicated experiment, can be hard to understand, but the video does a great job explaining it on simple terms that we have been exposed to in BIO1510
