  1. Carson says:

Great presentation, the test at the bottom is a little distracting though

  2. Oluwapamilerin says:

Great video, I like the news theme. The subtitles were a little too fast.

  3. John says:

Great theme, but it felt a little rushed.

  4. Matthew says:

I love the theme of a breaking news story and the study is explained very thoroughly and in simple terms. The detailed descriptions of the figures is very helpful in understanding the study, as well. The video does go well over the 5 minute limit, but it is enjoyable to watch.

  5. Kayla says:

This was the first group that did a news story which was nice to see something new and not just drawings. The one things I found off was the subtitles. Although I did hear everything, if I had missed something there was no way I could read that fast.

  6. Andrew says:

The presentation was unique, but didn’t really help visually communicate your content. The subtitles were a bit fast and hard to read.

  7. Blake says:

I thought it was cool that you chose to do a news theme. I thought that was creative and a fun way to get the audience engaged. The information was presented in a fairly clear manner and seemed to get the necessary information across. However, the moving subtitles were quite distracting, some of the video editing was a bit rough in that the video would jump in the middle of an idea, and it was a bit longer than necessary. Overall, good job.

  8. Hannah says:

Great idea to make a news cast! The subtitles were difficult to read because they were fast. It would have helped a little if there were some visuals to go along with the first scientist’s part.

  9. Alyssa says:

Presenting the information through a newscast was great for this topic! However, I feel like the connections that were made back to what we’ve learned in class could’ve been further developed. Otherwise, an alright summary of the experiment with an adequate amount of explanation for the various useful figures that were included.

  10. Victoria says:

Nice job choosing a different tactic on video presentation. It was interesting, but could have used a few more visuals.

  11. Elizabeth says:

I feel like it was just alot of talking and not alot of visuals, the line at the bottom is distracting and takes away from the presentation

  12. Hanna says:

I liked the creative format of a news report, but there weren’t many visuals to help guide the narration

  13. Kevin says:

I really enjoyed the newscast format. It adds a little entertainment aspect to the video, but it also is informative for the topic. It reminds me of our last lab where we looked at C. Elegans to determine the linkage of certain mutations.

  14. Hannah says:

The newscast format is entertaining! The subtitles were a bit quick to follow. The information was well presented. By doing a skit, I can really tell you understood the research.

  15. Austin says:

    The theme was engaging

  16. Robert says:

The theme was really cool and creative but the text at the bottom moved just slightly too fast to read comfortable. The information presented orally was nice though

  17. Sohyun Kwag says:

I like how you have the new report format. It’s very creative. But the captions are too fast and too much content that it makes me dizzy.

  18. Tarab says:

I love the newscaster approach to this video, again another unique approach to this project.

  19. Chloe says:

I like the idea, however the captions did distract me and were moving a bit too fast. The information was very interesting.

  20. Kharina says:

I really enjoyed the news themed video. I would take out the moving captions. Some places the audio was not too clear. Overall the topic was discussed clearly and the visuals were easy to understand. Good job!

  21. Jordyn says:

This video is very entertaining and well put together! The topic was thoroughly explained and was easy to follow! The chosen vocabulary made it easy to connect what was in the article to what we have learned in class and lab! Great job!

  22. Lauren says:

I enjoyed the video although the credits were a little too fast, making them unreadable and distracting at times.

  23. Nicholas says:

I enjoyed the video, however the theme of the video did not help to convey the information. Also, the subtitles were a bit too large, which made them distracting at times. Other than that, the video was great!

  24. James says:

Subtitles were very fast but other than that the change of format was appealing.

  25. Kristine says:

Good visuals and unique idea. I like how you pretended to interview Tech students to relate it back to what we have learned in class. The subtitles were a little fast though. Also, I would put labels on the graphs next time so they are more clear!

  26. Confidential says:

I like the format and theme of this video but it was oddly paced and the relating back to concepts was lacking in my opinion. It is clear that a good amount of work was put into this however.

  27. Daham says:

Great video! I really enjoy and the video was helpful to understand new concept. Thank you!

  28. Yanghang says:

It’s creative to make a news cast! The subtitle is too fast to read but the all the content is easy to understand.

  29. Cassidy says:

Really enjoyed the news broadcasting style, but the information felt a little crammed. Overall, still good and creative.

  30. Alyssa says:

The new cast format made this entertaining to watch!

  31. Theresa says:

Really cool way of presenting the topic, the subtitles were a bit distracting but I enjoyed watching your video!

  32. Taylor says:

The way y’all went around presenting this information was so creative! I love the news casting idea! I really enjoyed watching this video! Great Job!!

  33. David says:

I thought the news cast was a very unique way of presenting the article. I thought that was very innovative, and I really enjoyed the video overall.

  34. Joy says:

this video was very creative in how it was presented. The figures were also well explained.

  35. Samantha says:

I like how the video took the form of a news show. This allows the data and results to be communicated in a very informative way. Only thing I’d critique is the subtitles – they are a little fast and the scrolling is slightly distracting. Love the video!

  36. Xiaoying says:

The presentation is clear. The video gives a professional and serious feeling. Used a lot of data. The beginning of video is edited well.

  37. Elizabeth says:

The theme and the way it was presented was very cool and unique!

  38. Victoria says:

The subtitles were a bit distracting, but the breaking news themes was unique and engaging. Good job!

  39. Christin says:

The video was really informative and thorough, but the constantly changing camera angles and audio quality were very distracting…

  40. Collin says:

Very interesting approach to deliver the information as a newscaster! Information was well explained but the camera shooting could be improved

  41. Katherine says:

Very good idea!! However, the subtitles at the bottom were a bit too fast and kind of distracted me from the video.

  42. Luis says:

    Loved the news format!

  43. Bradford says:

Great video, loved the way you presented your info. The captions were a little fast, but it wasn’t too bad.

  44. Ana says:

I really like the way you presented your information!! It was different and a great way to hook an audience accustomed to seeing videos with only concepts. Having a news show approach was refreshing 🙂

  45. Carlie says:

Because the subtitles were going so fast, I was more preoccupied with trying to read them that I was distracted from the actual information. After rematching, though, I enjoyed the presentation.
