I like how you guys drew out a map of the world to communicate your topic. Also, I enjoyed how you guys incorporated the concepts that were learned in class (e.g. gene flow).
This is crazy i would haven ever thought that this could be true, that is incredible.
I really liked the drawings and it matched the explanations really well. The drawings were very neat and distinct, so it was really easy to grasp the information. The information was really easy to understand thanks to your drawings and explanations.
The hand drawn map and images were my favorite part of this video. I enjoyed how each stage and concept of the genomic history of Aboriginal Australians were broken down step by step. The video was detail oriented in both the illustrations, and the information present within the voiceovers.
I really enjoyed this video! The drawings were so well done and the concepts were well explained. The only complaint I have was that the camera was a little shaky at times and distracted from the over all video.
This is so interesting! I loved the graphics and the person drawing all the images did a great job and has very legible handwriting. I especially loved all the maps. However, I did have a hard time reading all the pie charts on the one map of Australia starting around time 1:24. In addition, the speed and quality of the speech were perfect.
I enjoyed the video because it broke down some part of the human history, mostly things I hardly knew about. The figures and data presented further helped in understanding the topic. Great job!

I really enjoyed this video and how it discussed things not necessarily related to the DNA, like the language. This was a very interesting and informative video and I really enjoyed the topic. The visuals were also great and I loved the way the figures were presented over the map.
The drawings were very well done and helped portray the studies result. The narrators spoke well and made the information easy to understand. Just maybe something other than the map would make it more interesting.

This video was really easy to follow and the drawings were great and synced well the audio. I can’t believe you were able to draw Australia so well in one go! The only thing that confused me was when you started writing the three-letter codes, but eventually I got that they were the different tribes.
Good job presenting the narration with the visuals to create a clear, cohesive argument. It might have been made clearer what the three letter abbreviations symbolized, but other than that, I felt that I understood the study pretty well. Good job!
5 stars. Awesome video and great map of Australia. Y’all made the experiment seem very simple. One critique: There wasn’t much mention of other modules’ implications for the experiment being discussed.

I learned about this topic in world history in high school so it was cool to learn about it more in depth and relate it to bio class. The visuals were average; I liked the world map. Overall it was a good video.
The drawings were well done and informative. The narration was clear and in understandable terms. I do wonder at a few mentions though, that seem to contradict. Were the aborigines the first humans in Australia, or did their genes and culture just have a major impact on people already there?
The hand drawing of the routes of human travel and genomic changes throughout time were very nice! I never thought of the hypothesis mentioned in this video, and I was intrigued to learn more!

I really liked the use of the giant whiteboard table to illustrate the information being presented. The narration was nicely paced and clear. The visuals were spot on. The drawing of Australia and all the routes and etc. were super helpful in keeping up with the information.
I find it so amazing that scientists are able to use genome sequencing to compare populations of humans. Thank you for the thorough and understandable explanation.

I really like the opening with the map of Australia. It gives a good context and background very quickly. This experiment is very interesting and this group was able to break it down and make it easy to understand. Very good video.
I really liked how all of the pictures related to what you guys spoke about. I did not quite understand what all of the abbreviations were, so I do wish you guys would have reviewed what those were. Other than that, you guys did a great job of explaining the experiment and how it was linked to areas all around the world.

The information was presented in an organized fashion which i thought was very helpful in helping me understand the information.Your attention to detail was impeccable and the information was very clear. The visuals were great as well. In particular, the hand drawn maps were something that I really admired. This is an amazing video and the way it explained the bridges to certain points that we have touched in class is also very good. Great video you guys!
This was an interesting topic. I really liked the way pie-charts were used to show the DNA make-up of the different groups of people. I don’t think the last sentence of the video made much sense though. It made it sound like languages were just acquired all at once instead of slow change over thousands of years, with the spread of people. I think it would’ve been better without that last part since the spread of languages had already been explained in the clip before it.
