Very well done. I love the connection to Dr. Kerr’s topic in class, and you gave a nice wrap up in the end.

  2. Sheng Erika says:

The white board content was really well drawn. The timing was really great! The material was really easy to understand! Great work!!

  3. Kumar Gayathri says:

These are some great drawings here, and you communicated your results very well. It makes you think, how really old life is. Nothing seemed to be too confusing and your video quality is nice.

  4. Groves Daniel says:

Excellent reference to Dr. Kerr’s video. The comparison was made early in the video, and the Kissimmee, FL relation was made at the end to tie everything together. The method used to date the stromatolites was explained so that a normal person could understand them, and the cute, inventive drawings made the video enjoyable to watch.

  5. Calhoun Ciandra says:

I really appreciated this video for many aspects. Construction wise, the illustrations, transitions, and voiceover were perfect and easy to comprehend. The element I appreciated the most from this video was the connections and relations drawn upon. It was nice that this video referenced what we learned in lecture, as well as, a geographical relation to the CULC here at Georgia Tech. The inclusion of such elements made grasping the information presented more reasonable and relatable.

  6. Nava Eduardo says:

I love the connection to the lecture in class!

  7. Olaniran Peace says:

The comparison to the course or the lecture given in class was very evident in this video and it was a great way to deliver the information because it was something that we knew. The images and transition of the video was designed and produced effectively. Background music could have enhanced the video further, but it was well done even without the music. The group did a great job!

  8. Sheu Wendy says:

Nice connections to Dr. Kerr’s ideas. It gave a nice idea of time period through distance. Visuals and voiceovers both helped explain a very informative concept. Could have bigger connections to what we learned in other modules.

  9. Ghalayini Sarah says:

I thought that the reference to Dr. Kerr’s analogy in class was a great way of relating the concepts in the paper to those we learned in class. My group also had the same paper, so it was interesting seeing another perspective!

  10. Murray Hannah says:

Overall, I really enjoyed this video! I loved how the visuals were drawn out on a dry erase board. The audio was also timed perfectly and very easy to understand. I clearly understood all the points being made in the video and did not have to pause the video to try to catch up. The connections made to what we learned in class were also very good!

  11. Harris Sarah says:

Good audio, visuals, and content. Loved the whole thing!

  13. Blake Daniels says:

The narrator spoke at a great pace and volume allowing me to hear the information without much difficulty. I liked how you referenced the information taught in-class. This made the video unique and helped the uninformed understand the time scales mentioned.

  14. Milburn Emily says:

I thought the hand drawn images on the white board were great and truly related to everything the narrator said. I loved the connection to Dr. Kerr’s road trip from Disneyworld to the CULC, and how you changed it and related it to the findings from your article. This video was very well done and prepared! Great job!!

  15. Whitt Sabrina says:

Captivating illustrations. Liked how the video was clear, easy to follow, and understandable. I loved how within the video, the speaker brought up questions for the audience to think about and then explained further on. Great job!

  16. Bentata Benezry says:

The draws on the white board are great and they perfectly match what the narrator says. I felt exactly as if I was in Dr. Kerr’s class. Nice way to relate the topic with the class! Great job!

  17. Madeline Lazar says:

The extension of the in-class example was used very effectively. The information was easy to follow and interesting. Most of the visuals were great, but a few of them (I think they were supposed to be showing relative dating) were a little unclear about what they were trying to convey. Great video!

  18. Kang Jenifer says:

The illustrations were nice and helped a lot with understanding the information. The connection to Tech was interesting. The connection between the timeline and distance made things a lot easier to take into perspective. The information was well presented and overall great video.

  19. Li Danny says:

The illustrations and references to topics discussed in class made it easier to understand the information presented in the video. The narration was also well paced and easy to follow with the drawing. Overall, the video was well made and interesting to watch.

  20. Muenchen Alexandrea says:

The speed, illustrations and references to Dr. Kerr’s lecture made the information easier to understand. Some of the visuals were a little unclear with the connection but the whole presentation was great! I can tell that you were very prepared!

  21. Marquardt Kristina says:

This video gave great background information and the visuals were done extremely well—very fun to watch. The connection to Dr. Kerr’s lecture was well done and made the connection to class clear. The narrator did a great job at keeping a consistent pace that was easy to follow. The timing of the audio and transitions between clips were also very clean.

  22. Hebert Mason says:

The drawings were very good, and went along with the video perfectly. I also liked how you connected the topic to class.

  23. Reeves Olivia says:

The evolution/Disney metaphor from Dr. Kerr’s section was really helpful to explain the meaning behind the research. Great visuals and you made it really easy to understand the article! Overall, really good video

  24. Wilson Emma says:

The silence at the beginning of the video was a little awkward, but the rest of it was great! The pictures went really well with the timing of the audio and made it very interesting and easier to understand. Love it!

  25. Bentata Benezry says:

The connection between the video and the class is clearly shown. Also, drawings and concepts are very well explained. I have no bad reviews, I loved the video, and I think it was really well done.

  26. Newville Grace says:

Some of the narration was kind of boring, and the video was overall not that entertaining. However, good job making a slightly confusing topic seem to make total sense with good explanations and graphics.

  27. Smith Jaeiza says:

I feel like you gave a great background to understand the experiment. I think your visuals were good and interesting.

  28. Vear Isabella says:

Y’all related super well to the class and your visuals were very good and kept me focused. Further your timing was very good and you made the information clear and easy to understand (your audio was fantastic)

  29. Reynolds Kirsten says:

The drawings were really detailed, and the voiceover was slow, which contributed to my understanding of this information. I loved how you related the information directly to an example used in class; this really helped me understand how this study related back to the information we studied in class! The only improvement I would make is maybe making the handwriting neater, making the lighting brighter (my group had this same problem, however), and maybe adding some background music to help your audience stay interested! Overall, this video was fantastic! Well done!

  30. Lucas Council says:

The whole structure of the video was awesome. Relating it to class, putting it in the context of the road trip to Florida, and illustrating its significance in light of a topic everyone is already familiar with were all awesome ideas. This was a very complicated concept, and it was palatable in this video. Awesome job!

  31. Arpinar Omer says:

Great job connecting the experiment to the modules were covered in class. It makes the material much easier to understand.

  32. Stratton Lauren says:

This video is very good! The drawings were very detailed and helped my understanding of the information a lot. I liked how you defined terms and very much connected it to our class studies. The only thing is that sometimes the voiceovers were quite monotone. Other than that, awesome job!

  33. Taylor Sydney says:

This gave me a great understanding of what stromatolites are and how they indicate when life showed up on Earth. The illustrations are really good, too. Good job!

  34. smortley3 says:

Good video! the drawings were a very good way of presenting the information with clarity, and the connection to information we learned in class was well done.

  35. Mahajan Divya says:

The figures were very nice and clear. Making figures on large white boards are comparatively harder to sheets, however, the job in the video was very well done.

  36. Cho Ha says:

The drawing lined up well with the materials that were being discussed, and it was very helpful and made it easy to understand. I thought you guys did a great job connecting the materials to the topics we learned in class.

  37. Anderson Eric says:

This video clearly conveyed the findings of the paper. I especially liked that the timeline-distance metaphor was used because this really does help. The methods and explanation of main ideas was also well done. Interesting, too, that we still don’t know for sure.

  38. Trout Robert says:

The visuals were nice, they matched well with the material you guys were presenting. The only thing I did not like was that there was only one person speaking through the whole presentation.

  39. Green Madison says:

I thought this video was super informative and I learned a lot watching it. The experiment was clearly conveyed and simplified so it was easily understood.

  40. Leal Antonio says:

The visuals were very helpful for understanding the video. By including examples used in class the experiment was simplified and allowed me to understand it a little better. The script was quite detailed but the speed and visuals made the information easy to follow.

  41. Beruk Samson says:

Good connection with lecture to help visualize the magnitude of the amount of time being discussed. Really good timing with the narration and drawings adds greatly to how cohesive the video is and also constantly keeps the listeners engaged in the connection between what is being discussed and what is being drawn. Engaging and educational, good work!

Top notch. The visuals, the narration, and the explanations were all very good and easy to understand.

The silence at the beginning was boring. Good job on everything else. I liked that you went back to edit the audio about disney…

  50. Nagesha Anirudh says:

I loved the set up of this video with the white board drawing. At first, I didn’t like the fact that the person writing on the board was very prominent in the camera shot, but I think it really works that way. Narrations were also very good. Overall wonderful job!
