The shift from the video of you all to the animated video was slightly distracting, but you guys are all great speakers and you conveyed the meaning of your article well.

  2. Sarah says:

I really enjoyed the use of the cartoon in this video. The topic was explained very well.

  3. Harrison says:

While audio quality was not up to par during the diagrams, the skit and the cartoon were excellent mediums that were able to relay the importance of genetically modified mosquitoes to viewers like myself. While I hate mosquitoes, I am willing to see the ecological importance they bear over every day life because of your video. It was fun.

  4. Savannah says:

I really enjoyed the use of cartoons in this video. The different ways information was relayed kept the video engaging. Very well put together and interesting topic.

The animation portion of the video was awesome and really entertaining. The other portions were good as well and contained all the necessary information.

  6. Nylah says:

I loved the video and voice over part. It was informative and kept me focused on what you were presenting. I would maybe show clearer visuals of the presented data on the white board, it was difficult to see the axis’.

  7. Aubree says:

I liked that you opened the video with background information about the mosquitoes that the audience needed to know. I thought the animated portion of the clip was a great addition and was synced up well to the audio. It also helped to reinforce the topic more clearly and kept the presentation engaging. Great video!

  14. Kaitlin says:

The cartoons in the video were very professional, and there was a lot of information provided on the presentation. The graphs were well drawn, and the content was actively communicated. However, I would have liked to see more fluency between the cartoon video and the people presenting. It seemed like I was viewing 2 different videos that were awkwardly merged into one.

  15. Jessica says:

I like the fact that y’all added in personal explanations. It was easy to follow and understand.

  16. Woohyun says:

The music was really nice. The graphics were great too as they were colorful. The audio for the segments of people talking with the white board was a little difficult to hear.

  17. Arfa says:

I liked the animations and the venn and tree diagrams. It made the video more engaging and kept it creative. It would have been nice to have a transition between the animations and live presenters but overall the video was good!

  22. Leighann says:

The explanations were clear and easy to understand. I think it was a great idea to start off addressing questions the audience may have and important terms they should know before hand. There was a good balance between acting, talking, and the cartoon. The cartoon did a great job of displaying the information and study.

I really like the visuals you guys used, it shows a lot of effort. Looks like there may be some spelling errors though? (Weinderg?)

  35. Sho says:

I really like how you guys used a short animation. I will definitely be using powtoon in the future! Also, I thought that the explanations were done well.

  36. Joseph says:

This is the first video I have seen so far that has used actual people, and not just writing on a piece of paper/white board. Also, the animation is great it really adds the Pow to the video(sorry couldn’t resist the pun). Great topic and review overall.

  37. Seenam says:

I liked the short animation & actually seeing people which was rare in these videos. It was really easy to understand the topic.

Cartoons are cool. The topic is explained well. Some parts of the narrator is not that good , but the overall video is clear and engaging

  39. Brooklyn says:

I really appreciated having two different forms of media in this video. Although the audio for the filmed portions was not as clear as it could have been, the fact the presenters were seen giving the information to the audience helped to overcome that. Overall, a very clear video that was wonderful at fully explaining the concepts from the article.

  40. Kelly says:

Great video. Having more than one method of displaying the information (live action and animation) made the video pleasing to watch. However, it was difficult to hear your audio. This isn’t a video design class though so great job!

  44. Mahima says:

I love the animation very interesting to watch!

  45. Cassidy-Arielle says:

I enjoyed the shift from people to animations though the sound quality was not the greatest in this video, but I do like that in the beginning, you went ahead and clarified GM vs WT mosquitoes.
