  1. Umair Alvi says:

For subtitles, please click on the CC button on the menu bar when you hover over the video. Thank you!

  2. Kern Ryan says:

I feel as though you could have explained what DNA Fish were, as well i do not understand the point of bringing out “Larry”.

  3. Andrew Matson says:

The original set up of a talk-show kept the video fun and entertaining. A lot of useful background information was provided to help the viewer understand the disease and its development. Great job!

  4. Sheu Wendy says:

Loved the opening. But got a little disappointed with the volume being too low. Great job on including all the details that allowed me to understand and enjoy.

  5. Vacko Katharine says:

I loved the beginning of the video with the Doctors intro. It was a humorous and relevant reference. You guys did a great job of defining all the relevant terms however, I found the volume to be low in certain areas. The video was definitely long, but relayed all the necessary information to comprehend the subject.

  6. Olaniran Peace says:

Altogether, the video was engaging and very entertaining. The creativity was awesome by using “Doctors” to mimic the original show. So it was a great job all around, but some minor flaws were cleaning up the background noise to make it less or eliminating it entirely. Also the last minor flaw was explaining what DNA fish were. Other than that awesome job.

  7. Su Steven says:

I liked the idea of a talk-show. However, the audio was too low which made it very distracting to watch the video. Some visual stimulus would make the talk show even better. The figure might have been able to be simplified even more.

  8. Kyzer Amelia says:

Volume was a little low during the video, but video was thoroughly entertaining and the talk show set up was a really good way to break down into “simpler” terms the project and help the user understand it.

  9. Ghalayini Sarah says:

I thought that the format of the video was very unique and creative! That said, the video was a little long and the audio volume was a bit low at times. Overall, the video did a good job explaining the material and was interesting to watch.

  10. Bakare Oladipo says:

The video contains a great amount of information, I barely noticed it was 7mins long. Nicely done!

  11. Moye Lauren says:

This format was a really interesting and engaging way to present your case! The production wasn’t the greatest, but the information was presented well, great job!

  12. Xie Jingwei says:

Very creative format and easy to understand!

  13. Ul-Haque Anum says:

The video was great and really informative! I think a big issue was the volume, as there were some places where the volume was too low. But other than that, great video! I liked the format and use of an existing show to introduce and explain the topic.

  14. Phillips Haley says:

The talk show idea made the video interesting. The presentation was also easy to follow and I enjoyed the bringing in of ‘outside’ people to give more information on the disease.

  15. Patel Krishna says:

Awesome opening! Using the concept of the talk-show was very interesting and entertaining. The video was very informative, and you guys did a great job of defining all the terms used. The voices were a little hard to understand, but with the subtitles it was fine.

  16. Zou Qing says:

It is creative and unique, but it is lack of more clear and easy to view graphs or diagrams. The time is also too long. But overall, it is good and creative!

  17. Bonitatibus Rachael says:

I found the video to be very engaging. The introduction is very creative and original. Like other commenters, I found the volume to be low at times. I also thought that because the video is so long, more graphs or diagrams would be beneficial to the viewer. Its hard to keep people engaged for that long.

  18. Qin Nina says:

That was creatively refreshing. I like you guys more than the actual “The Doctors”. It was really impressive how you guys were able to make the script very informative while also maintaining a conversational atmosphere.

  19. Loftin Sidney says:

The outline of the video was interesting as a talk show, and there was a lot of good background information since people (like me) don’t know much about this disease.

  20. Newville Grace says:

Great definition of overall disease and symptoms and good job stressing why the research is being done in the first place. This was a very unique video with very informative aspects; I actually learned a lot from watching this.

  21. Bentata Benezry says:

I liked the video and the overall idea of the video. Really interesting finding a group that did not use drawings or pictures to explain the material. The only bad thing is that the audio is very low sometimes. Overall, I think you guys did a good job.

  22. Kang Jenifer says:

The doctors concept was interesting, and the information presented was thorough. I liked that you asked each other questions in order to define certain words and clarify on certain concepts. For the majority of the video, the audio was too low, but the subtitles helped.

  23. Watson Kimberly says:

I really liked the idea to turn your video into a talk show. It kept your topic interesting and current. Dressing up in your lab coats were hilarious. Having specialists and guest appearances really made it feel like a real tv show!

  24. Punyarthi Sayali says:

I liked how the experiment was directly related back to the topics we learned in our class. I also liked how there were voice-overs during the figures to allow for visual aid in understanding the topic.

  25. O'brien-Russell Charlotte says:

I thought the idea of making the video into a talk show was great. It made the video much more entertaining and engaging. There were good connections to Bio 1510. The video explained the problem very well and it was easy to follow; however, it was too lengthy and you could have cut out a few unnecessary things.

  26. Jacqueline says:

I loved your theme! It must have been a lot of work writing it and putting everything together. I would have liked for the script to be a little less technical; it reads more like a paper than a conversation, and I think that’s why some words and phrases sounded off (you don’t usually hear them spoken because they’re usually written down).

  27. Wilson Emma says:

I really liked the talk show theme! It made the video very entertaining and enjoyable. Also, I really appreciated all of the background information that was given at the beginning of the video. It helped me understand everything later on in the video so much better.

  28. Reynolds Kirsten says:

At first, it was the title that grabbed my attention, but the video was very informative as well as interesting! You all presented the information in a very engaging and interesting manner, and now I know what Barrett’s Esophagus is! The video was fun to watch. Well done!

  29. Dubey Shresttha says:

The medium through which you guys relayed your information was very engaging and it held my attention throughout the video, despite being a little long. The connections to biological concepts were also very strong.

  30. Arpinar Omer says:

The talk show setting really helps the audience focus at is a refreshing new way to do these types of videos.

  31. Oliver Greta says:

I really enjoyed the talk show format and I thought having a patient on the show was also really great. It was long, but it did a good job of conveying information in an interesting manner.

  32. Lin Min says:

I liked how the information was given in a casual, talk show setting that quickly captured the attention of the audience. However, I felt like some of the information given could be explained more in depth like “DNA FISH”.

  33. Guilherme Pinto says:

I really enjoyed the format of the video and how all of the information was presented. I just think that the sound could be higher and at the beginning of the video the voice wasn`t synced with the movement of the lips. Also the video was a bit too long. Still the format was great and really helped me to keep engaged throughout the video!

  34. Courtney Queen says:

The format of the video as a talk show was great! It helps make the content a little easier to understand. However, the volume was a bit low.

  35. Anderson Eric says:

The talk-show idea is an interesting take. It engages millions of people across the country in an informational way, and its genius to think of it in this circumstance! The info got a little heavy toward the middle (we had a similar issue), but overall it was straightforward and enlightening. I get acid reflux occasionally so I’ll have to keep this in mind.

  36. McGlothin Molly says:

The team was creative in using the talk show idea. This approach created an extra interest. The decrease in clarity of the sound at times distracted me. Yet overall the presentation was well done.

  37. Green Madison says:

I thought the information was presented in a very original and interesting format. I like the creativity of using a popular show. Only issue for me was sound clarity but good overall.

  38. Leal Antonio says:

It was a great video. The sound clarity was a little off but the connections to Biol 1510 and the format of “The Doctors” that you guys chose made the video humorous and easy to follow.

  39. vjohn6 says:

This video was made in a very interesting manner. I liked the idea of a talk show and how the brought on “experts” and a participant in the study they read about to help explain the concept. They also explained it in a manner that was very easy for people to understand that didn’t read the video.

  40. Trout Robert says:

I liked the talk show style of presenting the study, definitely unique and I think a great way to present this information. Also, great job with the introduction and the way you outlined the information for the rest of the study.

  41. Johnston Gregory says:

I love the format! The video was very engaging and presented the material in an understandable way.

  42. Quintas Gabriel says:

Humorous, and well thought and engaging video! Really enjoyed it

  43. Jones Dillon says:

Very creative and engaging. I liked the professional looking introduction and Doctors theme. The background noise could use some dampening. Also, lab coats should not be worn outside of lab!!!

  44. Bullock Kate says:

I really liked how you guys used the theme of the doctor’s, very creative. I also thought that the background information was very informative and easy to follow. Good job on making a complex study into something understandable.

  45. Kumar Nishant says:

It was a very good attempt to present the information in a unique manner. Could have been slightly shorter though.

  46. Grant says:

I liked the talk show theme of the video. You also included lots of great information, and I enjoyed the ways that you connected Barrett’s Esophagus to our topics from class. Great video. Nice job.

  47. Bresch Troy says:

It was nice to see a different theme to the video. Most other videos involve using animation rather than doing a talk show. Besides that, the video was very informative and did well in connecting information on the research subject with information in class.

  48. Sewall Christian says:

This was a very creative approach. The use of a well known show to give light to a specific scientific article was very unexpected, and honestly, appreciated. Thanks for making an informative video that related to our class material!

  49. Kenya Jones says:

The setup of the video being a talk show was very creative and made the video more enjoyable. Also, you guys did a good job of explaining the experiment.

  50. Garg Pallavi says:

Very good job relating the experiment to class material! The set-up of the video was very interesting and a creative take on explaining the experiment. The video made the experiment very easy to follow and understand.
