a little shaky, but i know many groups had this occur with no mounts able to use for those cameras we rented out 🙂

  2. apeters35 says:

I thought the video was well done. The trees drawn on the white boards really helped make things clear to the viewer.

  3. nnuthivana3 says:

I like the presentation of the data very much, and the random monkey pictures.

  4. jsandmann3 says:

It was very interesting and easy to watch and listen. I liked how the information was presented, because it helped make it more clear. I just think the video is a little shakey and the main speaker seemed to speak a little fast.

  5. sreginauld3 says:

The narration of this video was really good as it helped me understand the phylogeny of Herpes. The video was well put together, especially the transition from the human scenes to the pictures, to illustrate the information effectively.

  6. gwang76 says:

The last bit was very interesting!

  7. twommack3 says:

Great video, very informative, I thought the clip from John Tucker Must Die really funny!

  8. mmosgrove6 says:

Good work, great job explaining something fairly complicated in a comprehensible manner!

  9. jbright7 says:

The dialog very very clear, and the drawings on the white board were extremely neat.

  10. rmccord8 says:

The phylogenetic trees were easy to read and helped reinforce the information being presented in the video.

  11. ehighfield3 says:

I enjoyed the video and how it was constructed. The use of phylogenetic trees was useful in showing the pathway of the herpes virus and made the information more easy to follow. At times though, I thought the speed of the shot was a little too fast and made it more difficult to follow the explanations, so if the video were a little slower, it would’ve been great.

  12. akvg3 says:

The narrator talked really fast and I was distracted by the different images that had nothing to do with the presentation or what was being said. But overall a unique and well made video.

  13. ryoung70 says:

Great video! Good use of visuals and the information was concise and to the point. Good job incorporating phylogenetic trees into the video too! Overall, great job!

  14. kmccalley3 says:

The phylogenetic trees were a great visual. Very informative and I loved the monkey pictures you filmed all over campus!

  15. bharris60 says:

This video was very informative! The graphs and phylogenic trees help to better understand this concept.

  16. psanghvi7 says:

The video left me a little confused, but overall it explains where the virus of herpes originated from well.

  17. achoo3 says:

While the expository content was filled with a variety of interesting information, some parts of the video did not correlate with the oral presentation. No sources were cited at the end and some form of a story was not present. However, the few scenes after each drawing to show a brief outline on what was said were well performed. Overall, the organization and content area was highly fulfilled, explaining the concept of Herpes virus origins in a thorough, straightforward manner.

  18. sbasta3 says:

The information was presented very well.

  19. rforloine3 says:

I think your information was really well researched. You also did a nice job of recreating graphs which helped you have something on camera as well as making a large copy for your viewer to see. However sometimes the words were a little ahead of what was on screen and the high pitch of the narrator sped up voice was distracting.

  20. jlee961 says:

Nice video, the speaker was very clear, however the speed of the speaker maybe could have slowed down and gone at the pace of the visual. Overall, good presentation of the origin of herpes viruses

  21. mganues3 says:

The figures that you all provided during the video was a very good aid in presenting your topic. It helped me to better understand the information you were talking about

  22. aakosa3 says:

The phylogenetic trees were useful to relay the information in an organized manner.

  23. amorris45 says:

Good visuals, talked a little fast, but it was clear. Definitely get the feeling that y’all know the material. Presentation was easy to follow.

  24. mting7 says:

Speaks rather quickly but still very clear and understandable. The visual diagram of the phylogenetic trees was very useful for visualizing everything. Everything is simply and clearly stated but still very informative. Graphs were also a nice addition.

  25. kdoughty7 says:

Good, informative video with nice visuals to understand what is being discussed.

  26. lballew3 says:

Good and very factual, but no story or humor makes it a four star from me

  27. arussell32 says:

The video was very informative, however I found the sped up language and visuals to be distracting, because I was more focused on understanding what was being said or interpreting the image before it disappeared, instead of being able to absorb and retain the information being provided.

  28. cloftus7 says:

I really enjoyed your group’s video. It was quite informational and it was full of facts that most probably did not know. I found the tree that depicted the simplex viruses with the primate hosts really interesting. Also, it is quite terrifying to think that people have a 67% chance of having herpes! That’s a lot higher than what I thought the statistic would be.

  29. jpopp7 says:

I liked the phylogenetic tree. It was really helpful in understanding the information.

  30. achen87 says:

Nice video! I always wondered why there wasn’t a documentation for Herpes type 1 on my medical records and now I know. Very informative!

  31. smehta73 says:

A lot of information. But it is hard to understand. Pictures are helpful !

  32. bstacey3 says:

Kind of hard to keep track of what the narrator is saying but the phylogenetic trees are very helpful in keeping track of the histories. Very informative and interesting

  33. jlester31 says:

Very informative kept me intrigued the whole time.

  34. mmcintyre7 says:

The phylogenetic tree connecting lemurs and humans was very interesting!

  35. klanthier3 says:

I think you’re video would have been more effective if you talked slower.

  36. ttsung3 says:

The video was helpful but the sped up voice and video made watching and listening a little difficult

  37. cbattle6 says:

Very entertaining and the chart was helpful and easy to follow.

  38. lhammock3 says:

It was well done overall. There were good explanations and illustrations. The voice over could have been a little slower though.

  39. mbidwell3 says:

This video is very engaging and educational. The team handled the subject matter very well.

  40. aheil3 says:

Good video. And it was actually a pretty interesting video as well. Learned a lot about origin of herpes.

  41. amawad3 says:

I really learned a lot from this video. You guys used different biological concepts to show this process which increased my understanding of the whole module.

  42. dherszenhaut3 says:

The combination of narration and drawing allows the viewer to better understand the phylogenetic trees and connections between herpes simplex viruses and primates. The video was well-done and explained the biological concepts well.

  43. gsanders31 says:

This video was very informative and taught me a lot about herpes (and scared me a little!) but the chipmunk narrator voice made it hard to understand. However, out of all the videos I watched, yours was the most interesting and relevant.

  44. mbunker6 says:

The video footage did not always correlate with the audio, especially at the beginning and the voice was hard to understand, but the video was well researched and explained the origin of herpes well .

  45. bhuggins3 says:

The audio is a little fast, but it is very informative and enjoyably presented. Good job

  46. ahendrix9 says:

I liked the format of the video. The information was very useful. Good job.

  47. lkrause7 says:

    nice use of the whiteboard

  48. jdoolittle3 says:

I didn’t know herpes simplex 2 was specific to humans only – very cool.

  49. smeka6 says:

The video was very informative. Information was taught in an interesting way. I learned a lot about Herpes

  50. hjo35 says:

    Good information and clear presentation
